By faith, I am a prophetic storyteller
I am a skilful poet filled with grace and truth
My fingers and tongue are that of a ready writer.
By faith, I write and promote the good news
My ink writes hope and courage on hearts
As God speaks, I doodle. As I hear, I write.
By faith, the Lord instructs me through visions of the night and day
With my trained fingers, I carve the words on pages
I proclaim peace and good tidings.
By faith, I will always tell stories that bear the life of Christ.
Out of me shall flow rivers of living waters
to refresh women and men
So help me, Lord. Amen.
