Put all the grain on the altar
Crush it. Crush it into fine powder
Pour in the oil. Let it saturate it
Burn it upon the altar
Leave it there, an offering to the King.
Offer the crushed heads.
Put the wild heads on the stove
Mix it on the griddle. Sprinkle the salt
Leave the offering on the altar,
A sweet aroma to the King.
Keep it tasty without yeast. Leave out the swellings of self
Keep away from the smoke of pride
Remove the honey
Remove the sweetness of hypocrisy and deceit
Get rid of artificiality and even limitations
Roast the crushed heads in the pan
Pour in the oil and the incense
Let it burn and offer it as a meal,
A sweet-smelling offering to the Lord.

Wordspiration: This poem comes from Leviticus 2. I don’t want to elaborate further about this poem. I encourage you to read the Bible and pray that the Lord will reveal the depths of its words to you, as He has done for me.
