This week I kick off the 30 days-a-song and-Psalm with this short poem to evoke your heart to sing and make music to the Lord.
I implore you to enter the week with praise and a dance, enter the new month with utmost thanksgiving.
Sing to Him not because it’s the first day of the month but sing because He, the Lord, is worthy of praise.
Don’t wait to win a jackpot or get a new contract to sing a new song. But sing because the Redeemer is to be praised.
Today and for the rest of the week, wear a garment of praise over all the woes (personal and environmental issues).
Cast off the trials and tears and put on gladness; put on joy and not gloom.
Have a brand new attitude with the words of your mouth.

I walked
I praised
I sang and prayed
I tarried and waited for the morning sun
I fasted and feasted
I danced and sang to the One True God
Eternal home
Eternal hope.
