One of my favourite verses in the Bible is David’s Psalm 45:1 NLT.
Beautiful words stir my heart.
I will recite a lovely poem about the king;
for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.
David was a skilled poet. Also were the prophets of old. These men and women rendered the Word of the Lord in poetic verses You can read my thoughts in a blog post I wrote last year.
This year I’ve written a poem each day for several months now, some of which I’m inspired to write during my time with the Lord; some others I write as I listen to people’s sermons, and some by life situations.
Because God gifted me with the ability to write poetry, I’ve compiled my old and new poems to share with you, my audience.
For thirty days in September or as long as I can go, I will share some with you, poems and songs.
In Ephesians 5:19&20, Paul reminds us to: Singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I pray and hope every word stirs up your heart (to worship God in your conduct, speech and daily life). Please, read one short poem below:

Find you
I will find You when I search for You
I come up into the heights and sit with You, my Lord
I hear Your voice calling. I found You above.
You said, Come, my child and drink from the stream
Drink living waters
Come! You said, buy and eat
Come! You said, Take the wine and milk at no cost
You gave me oil and grapes
With no money on me, You gave me wine, bread and milk
And when I ate, I was filled
And I ate, in need of more. So I stayed with You.
